Course Overview

This course provides ʿulamaʾ with an introduction to the history, beliefs, and scriptures of Judaism and Christianity. Topics include an overview of Biblical narratives, Rabbinic Judaism, and the Historical Critical Method, alongside the study of New Testament authorship and the Qurʾānic approach to Biblical texts. Key discussions focus on the Trinity, salvation, and the historicity of the Crucifixion.
